Nutrition and Alcohol Don't Mix Well

I started working with a nutrition coach about 7 weeks ago.  At the beginning, I was sticking to the plan fairly closely, but over the past 2-3 weeks I've been largely sticking to the eating parts of the plan, but have been drinking more.  Not a huge amount (relative to my former normal), but still enough to throw the balance off.  If my target is 1400 calories, and I eat that and then have additional drinks, that can throw off the numbers by 20-30%. With the weather turning nice, I am so so tempted to sit out on the porch with a glass of rose and enjoy the sunshine.  It probably is the ritual of it, and a glass of kombucha or a non-alcoholic cocktail would very likely achieve the same thing, especially if served in a fancy glass. This week I am setting the intention to adhere to the guidelines my nutrition coach has provided me, and that means cutting out alcohol.  True, she didn't say I had to stop all together, but I do need to log accurately.  A sin...
